Lock down the calculated state of an Excel workbook by converting every formula to its current static value, so the numbers can never silently change again. Works on a copy by default; your live formulas stay intact in the workbook you are looking at. Useful for month-end auditor packages, files sent outside the company where source data is unavailable, or simply freezing a result before someone edits an input by mistake. Designed for Office 2019 / 365 on Windows; requires the ScripTree runtime.
How to install
ScripTree apps install in three steps. No admin rights required.
- Download the app .zip or folder using the Download button.
- Run
run_scriptreeforest.bat(Windows) orrun_scriptreeforest.sh(macOS/Linux) to open the ScripTree launcher. - Drag the downloaded folder or .zip onto the forest icon in the launcher.
