Why ScripTreeApps?
Every new app gets three months on Main to find an audience. After that, an app has to earn its spot — listings that don't generate enough sales, ratings, or stars get moved to The Museum. Apps are scanned for malware and operator-attested before they go live, but they aren't tested for functional quality. Front-shelf placement is sorted by real buyer engagement, not by who paid the most.

A permanent archive of every paid app that's ever lived on the storefront. When a paid listing slows down — fewer downloads, fading ratings — it gets museumed instead of disappearing. Buyers keep the apps they bought. Authors keep the option to come back: pay the re-entry fee, earn back through downloads, or run a sponsored campaign.
The Crypt
Free apps that didn't earn enough downloads or ratings to stay on the Free shelf — preserved for users who depend on them.
